Over the weekend, I stumbled upon these gamer sites and loved them all instantly! What do they all have in common? Well, they’re gamers, and they’re all angry/irate (in funny ways).
This guy has funny facial expressions - eyes bulging, mouth agape in anger or horror, so much passion and energy for video games! He started off reviewing NES games, but has since moved onto other consoles such as Atari, Sega systems, etc. I like his commentary style - so full of sarcasm and irony!
My favorite video from here so far is Atari Porn. Hilarious! I didn’t know those games existed.
This guy also has a strong style of sarcasm in his commentary, and he’s good at video editing. When I found this guy’s site, I had a rude awakening about Super Mario Brothers 2.
See, I never played SMB2, but I played the original, and later I played Super Mario World. I did wonder to myself…where did Shy Guys come from? I see people mentioning them in association with Mario Brothers, but I don’t remember seeing them in the games I played…maybe I have bad memory. But then I saw this video…blasphemy!
Although Grandma Hardcore’s site is more of a blog, it does contain videos of herself sounding crabby and being foul-mouthed while playing video games. She’s so cute! Sometimes she’ll try to explain the games logically (when the storyline is illogical)…and it just melts my heart, she’s so adorable!
Look at that dedication; she’s my role model. I want to be like her when I grow up - old and still gaming! This tough old lady plays games like God of War, Okami, Bioshock, and more! Check her out - sure she sounds frustrated at some games, but who doesn’t?
